Petition to include Hydroxychloroquine on drugs dispensed under the NHIF Scheme and other matters
Lupus Tanzania are currently requesting you that the Ministry of Health under the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), to include an essential drug, hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), that lupus patients take on a daily basis to reduce the flares that cause inflammation and trigger other attacks on their organs. Including this important drug to be dispensed under the NHIF scheme is important for the following three reasons:
